I love meeting new families! If you asked my husband and friends, they would tell you I am almost the last person who leaves church because I enjoy visiting with mamas and creating small groups for mamas!

I understand getting ready for a session is STRESSFUL at times. Once my families show up to the session, they're surprised and thankful for how the stress melts away by my soft approach to leading them into poses that are both natural and EMOTION FELT. I let parents know, the less they direct their children the more I am able to create my signature style which is when kids explore, love on mom & dad, and both snuggly and playful!

Patience. I have patience to make sure everyone's needs are met during the session and when we need a small break we take one. If we want a bigger adventure and play in a creek at the end, we can do that! I create images which tell YOUR STORY and I want to go to locations which best describes your family.

As a former preschool teacher now Mama of three, I know how to help kids feel comfortable by following their lead. I have fun using games or understand their need to snuggle for unsure feelings about the session. No matter how the child is feeling, I am able to capture images that capture EMOTION not stiff and formal poses (although we do need a few formal for the Christmas Cards.)

I do have college experience with photography and have had a camera in my hand since I was 14. I continue my photography education with Katelyn James Photography.

Amberly Ann Photography is located in the heart of rural Madison County. A farmhouse among the cornfields and green pastures, near the charming town of Winterset, Iowa. (Remember John Wayne, and Bridges of Madison Country? That's the town!)

Yes, I love to travel! An additional travel fee will be applied for $1 per mile beyond Madison County line from Amberly Ann Photography.

*Galleries with edited images will take a maximum of 3 weeks.

*Fall sessions will take a minimum of 4 -6weeks due to the farm harvest season and being the most popular season for sessions.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY is my approach when delivering my images for you to enjoy forever. I work hard to make sure each image meets my high standards. Many hours are spent behind the scenes to create each image. I feel at peace knowing clients will be proud to hang their high quality images on their walls.

Please have deposit paid within 7days after contract has been signed to avoid session to be terminated.

Each client will have access through an online Pixieset gallery to download, print and share. I'm always full of gratitude when my clients share my name on socials!

Please note, once your gallery is expired and one needs the gallery access again, there will be a $20 charge before releasing the gallery for an additional 1 month.

Amberly Ann Photography offers printing services through a professional lab. If this is an additional service you would like, please contact me and we will create the best package for your needs.

Amberly Ann Photography will not, under any circumstance, release unedited RAW images.

I believe if something can naturally be changed in a few days, I'll edit it out. Such as pimples, scrapes, lipstick on teeth, dirt on the kids skin ect. I believe everyone is unique and beautiful in their own special way and I have poses which will help with confidence and feel beautiful so there will be no need to make body alterations. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!

Sometimes, the best light and epic skies are after the rain! I like to let my clients choose if they would like to continue with the session or have the opportunity to reschedule. We will postpone for lightning, sever thunderstorms, and extreme cold temps.

No, since there is a quick turnaround time, I will not be providing sneak peeks at this time. The short wait will be worth it!
